BISS is committed to improving its processes, meeting customer requirements and delivering its products on time. We are pleased to announce that, together with LUQAM, we have completed the standardization of our machine changeovers using one of the SMED operational management systems.
The implementation and use of the SMED (Single Minute Exchange of Die) tool, or rapid changeover, has helped BISS standardize machine changeover times, thereby improving production capacity. Proper standardization of changeovers determines the flexibility of a company’s production system.
