Recycling signs or the meaning of the symbols that manufacturers put on packaging.
The recycling symbol appears mainly on metal, plastic, glass and cardboard/paper packaging. The most common symbol indicating that packaging is recyclable is a triangle consisting of three arrows in green or black. In the center of the triangle is the corresponding number, while under the triangle is a letter abbreviation. The code indicates what raw material will be recovered when the packaging is recycled.
