Translating knowledge into practice, that is, producing recyclable packaging
Our RECPACK line of packaging is recyclable.
These are environmentally friendly solutions in several respects.
This type of packaging is an excellent alternative to those packaging that cannot be recycled.
RECPACK packaging is made of 100% recyclable film.
Properly segregated by consumers, it can successfully return to circulation and be used as a component of other packaging.

See what specific measures we have implemented in the daily work of BISS
At BISS, we take a number of measures on a daily basis that improve our daily work and at the same time reduce CO2 emissions and waste.
Ecology as we understand it also means planning pro-environmental measures to be implemented in the future.
We believe that many small steps taken here and now, in the long run, will contribute to real, significant changes for the benefit of the public.
We have introduced a line of RecPack packaging
We produce recyclable packaging from materials that go back into circulation.
This is a significant step toward a better future and a cleaner planet.
We acquire Norwegian Funds
With financial support to reduce social and economic disparities in the EEA (European Economic Area), we have made several strategic investments, including to reduce CO2 emissions.
We use renewable energy sources
Powering with efficient photovoltaic panels, installing a state-of-the-art distillery, a ventilation system and a heat recovery compressor for heating the halls are some of the major changes we have implemented to reduce the environmental impact of our operations.
We have implemented a program to reduce waste generation
We also implement an internal program to reduce litter, including among employees.
We appreciate their pro-environmental attitude by rewarding them with a bonus.
We think ahead
We are already implementing next steps and planning changes in the near future, such as:
Replacing printers with more economical ones
We plan to purchase a flexo printer with systems that reduce electricity, gas and air consumption. We want to maintain the same packaging quality and production efficiency, while needing even fewer resources to do so.
Heat recovery
We use the heat generated by new-generation air compressors with an oil heat exchanger to heat laminate dryers and production halls. In turn, the ventilation system with a cross heat exchanger allows its recovery, while supplying fresh air to the production halls.
Digital printing standardization
Currently, in cooperation with Color Consulting, we are standardizing the printing process using dedicated Color Track software. The final result of the implementation is expected to bring the company: reduced pattern preparation time, reduced start-up film consumption, and faster machine inking.
Increase production of green energy
Thanks to the planned expansion of the photovoltaic plant. Thus, we will be able to obtain even more energy in a shorter time.
Replacement of lighting with greener ones
Because modern LED lighting uses less energy, the environmental impact of our production facility will be reduced to a minimum.

Reducing energy consumption
By using renewable sources and systematically increasing the power of heat pumps and photovoltaic installations, replacing them with even more efficient ones.

At BISS, we carry out our clients’ finished projects, but we do not do the creation.
However, a good design is the basis for the implementation to be fully compliant and at the same time ecological.
For packaging to be considered ecological, it must be at least 70% recyclable.
The material recovered in the recycling process should also be recyclable, recyclable again and again.
In doing so, it must meet the technological and quality requirements for recycling.
Green packaging design should also take into account, among other things, the reduction of the size of the packaging, as well as the possibility of reuse by the customer (re-use).
Packaging should also be designed to be suitable for use in a returnable packaging system (this is the entire, complex recycling process).
