Map packaging

Meat Packaging Plastic packaging for the meat industry is growing in popularity due to its versatility and ensuring that when you buy packaged meat you get a protected product with a longer expiration date than one bought loose without packaging.
Our packaging will work well whether you are packing fresh meat, pre-treated meat or meat snacks.
We will also offer a suitable solution for packaging sliced meats as well as whole meats.
For each of these products, we offer packaging with the appropriate barrier and properties.
Our structures protect the packaged products from external atmospheric factors as well as provide the right environment for the product inside the package.
Meat barrier packaging uses different types of films, which have different properties and protective capabilities.
Also, the way meat is packaged affects its safety and shelf life.
We distinguish such technologies as: MAP (Modified Atmosphere Packaging) meat packaging. or protective atmosphere packaging.
A packaging technology that aims to extend the shelf life of packaged meat by creating a protective atmosphere around it.
The technique involves replacing the air inside the package with a mixture of gases that inhibits the growth of spoilage-causing microorganisms and slows down the oxidation process.
The gases used in MAP packaging are mainly nitrogen, carbon dioxide and oxygen, which are carefully controlled to create an optimal environment for the product.
The main purpose of MAP packaging is to maintain product quality and freshness. Vacuum packaging of meat in VACUUM (Vacuum Packaging) technology Vacuum vac packaging is a packaging technique that involves removing air from the package and sealing it tightly to create a vacuum environment.
The absence of gases, especially oxygen, in the package helps slow the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms that can spoil meat.
By eliminating air and enclosing the meat in a sealed package, vacuum packaging provides an effective barrier against contamination and helps preserve the quality and freshness of the product.

It is used in the outer layer of packaging to provide protection from moisture, mechanical damage and to ensure the aesthetic appearance of the packaging. PA (polyamide) film: This film is known for its high resistance to water and gas evaporation.
It is used in the inner layer of barrier packaging to prevent oxygen and moisture penetration, which helps keep meat fresh. EVOH (ethylene vinyl aldehyde) film: This is a film that has a very high ability to retain nitric oxide and other gases.
It is used as a barrier layer to minimize oxygen penetration and extend the shelf life of meat products. PVC (polyvinyl chloride) film: This film is flexible and transparent.
Although it is not as effective in terms of barrier as some other types of film, it is still sometimes used in meat packaging with a short shelf life. Polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) films: These are commonly used films that can be used as the outer or inner layer of packaging.
Depending on the type and thickness, they can provide some barrier properties and protection against moisture and external agents. Laminated film and multilayer film: Multilayer barrier packaging can consist of different types of films bonded together.
This allows for a synergy of different properties, such as protection against moisture, oxygen and light.
Note that combinations of different types of films and their properties depend on the type of meat, expected shelf life, storage conditions, and producer and consumer requirements.
