BISS at Green Printing & Packaging 2019 Conference
In pursuit of the latest trends in environmental protection and, more specifically, biodegradable packaging and recycling, representatives of the BISS printing plant were guests at the GREEN PRINT AND PACKAGING conference held at SOMA’s headquarters in the Czech Republic on May 15, 2019.
The conference covered topics such as renewable and compostable solutions for flexible plastic packaging, among others. Conference representatives strongly emphasized the need for printers to implement environmentally friendly packaging materials.
According to estimates, in Europe alone, packaging accounts for about 40% of plastic production, of which little, about 1/3, is recyclable. The rest is incinerated or ends up in landfills occupying increasingly large areas.
Aware of the fact that, in Poland as well as in the world, we are already at such a stage of economic development that we would not be able to function without plastic, BISS Printing House, as one of the leading packaging manufacturers in Poland, is intensively looking for new ecological solutions .
