Grated Cheese Packaging

Product Description

We manufacture film packaging for grated cheese, with a barrier against moisture and oxygen that prevents the shreds from clumping and losing freshness. An effective oxygen barrier limits mold growth and milk-fat oxidation, which is critical for products with a large surface area in contact with air, as grated cheese is.

Applications

  • Grated mozzarella — for pizza, requires a high moisture barrier.
  • Grated yellow cheese (mix) — cheddar, gouda, edam.
  • Grated parmesan — fine shreds requiring a tight seal against clumping.
